Mumbaikars will now get to taste the restaurant’s variety of seafood dishes prepared by award-winning chef Dharshan Munidasa.
A restaurant owned by KumarSangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene is set to open sometime in May-June at Mumbai’s Western suburb (Khar West). The name of the restaurant is not yet known and thus we are taking the liberty to call it ‘SangaWardane’.
It will be a collaboration of Sri Lanka’s top seafood restaurant and Ministry of Crab (MoC) taking shape in Mumbai.
At approximately 7,000 square feet, the venue is well-known because of the neighbouring TBZ showroom.
Notably, the Japan-born celebrity chef Munidasa is a self-taught culinary expert and Kumar Sangakkara the former Sri Lanka cricket team captain, is confident that the timing and the pitch is perfect for the gastrointestinal venture.
