Shergarh: The incessant rainfall triggered by cyclone Titli has left more than 2,000 hectares of paddy croplands inundated, reports said.
It has also caused damage to vegetable crops in more than 500 hectares.
The croplands at Shergarh, Tareda, Pital, Tahir Badiama, Pakidi, Narandrapur and Kurula villages are under two feet of water.
Similarly, the water levels in the rivers flowing through these villages have also risen.
The paddy and vegetable farmers are the worst affected.
