Rourkela:A three-month-old baby died Wednesday , hours after being administered a DPT vaccine by an Anganwadi worker in Malgodown area near Uditnagar here.
The family had taken the infant to the Anganwadi worker in the morning. The worker administered her a DPT vaccine. The condition of the infant deteriorated and it died after two hours. The family members have alleged that a wrong vaccine was administered.
A police official said, “The exact cause of the death would be known after the post mortem. Based on that, suitable action would be taken.”
