Bargarh: A minor boy Saturday survived certain death in a road mishap that took place at a place on Dumbharpali-Katapali road in Bargarh district and left his two relatives critically injured.
Passers-by rescued the injured persons and rushed them to Barpali government hospital. Later, they were shifted to Burla-based VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) for further treatment as their condition worsened.
Sources said the incident occurred while the boy with two of his relatives was on the way to Barpali in a bike. Meanwhile, an over-speeding tractor hit the two-wheeler after the driver lost control on the wheels.
The three were thrown away to a distance under the impact of the collision. The two fractured their limbs and sustained critical injuries on their heads. Surprisingly, there was no trace of injury on boy’s body.
