Kakatpur: Over fifty villagers fell sick after partaking food at a marriage reception in Narendrapur village under this block’s Jaleswarpada panchayat in Puri district Monday.
At night, they complained of stomach ache and diarrhoea – and were rushed to the Bangurigaon community health centre.
All the affected villagers underwent treatment, while seven were in serious condition.
