Bhubaneswar: An arrest warrant has been issued against Odisha Higher Education Commissioner-cum-Secretary Aravind Agrawal, a source said Tuesday.
The source stated that Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad of the Orissa High Court issued the warrant, directing authorities to produce Agrawal by January 22.
The order was passed January 16 and uploaded to the high court’s website Tuesday.
The court, however, granted time for compliance, stating that no coercive action would be taken if the officer implemented the original directive by January 22, the source added.
