Bhubaneswar: The state-owned Indian Oil Corporation Wednesday urged Central Bureau of Investigation to probe allotment of a petrol pump to gangster Syed Usman Ali alias Tito. “On inquiry, IOCL has found the retail outlet in the name of Sayed Brothers Filling Station, Badahat, Kendrapara and an ad-hoc dealership of COCO (company-owned company-operated retail outlet) at Paradip were commissioned in violation of guidelines,” IOCL Chief General Manager Pritish Bharat said. In view of irregularities and seriousness of the issues involved, the ministry advised IOCL to refer the matter to CBI for a thorough probe, he said.
