Bhubaneswar, Dec 13: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to hold two trains for a while at stations on their routes December 16 because of modernisation work being taken up near Barang station.
Besides, four services would be diverted via Barang-Naraj Marthapur and Kapilas Road stations December 23 without touching Cuttack.
The New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express will be held for 30 minutes at Gopalpur Balikuda station and the Tirupati-Santragachhi for 20 minutes at Barang December 16.
The Howrah-Puri Dhauli Express in both directions, the Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express and the Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Express will be diverted via Barang-Naraj and Marthapur-Kapilas Road December 23 instead of running via Cuttack.
The Railways has arranged bus services between Cuttack and Kapilas Road for passengers of the trains. Passengers at both Cuttack and Kapilas Road stations will told of the bus service over the public address system.
