Mumbai: Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, has been on ventilator support since November 10, said a source close to the family.
Amid several reports claiming the actor’s death, his daughter, actor Esha Deol, issued a statement Tuesday dismissing the rumours and said her father is “stable and recovering.”
“The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery,” Esha Deol said in a post shared on social media.

The legendary Hindi film actor, often referred to as the “He-Man” of Indian cinema, has been under medical supervision, though the family has not disclosed details of his ailment.
