Parajang: A man was grievously injured as he was hacked allegedly by his father-in-law and brother-in-law over a family feud at Sunditaila village under this block in Dhenkanal district Sunday.
The injured was Kabiraj while the accused were his brothers-in-law Aravind Sahu and Amrish Sahu and his father-in-law Pahili Sahu.
According to sources, a rift prevailed between Kabiraj and his in-laws over some family matters. This took an ugly turn after the three attacked Kabiraj with sharp-edged weapons Saturday night.
Villagers rescued him in a critical condition and he was admitted to the Parajang community health centre (CHC). He was shifted to a hospital in Talcher when his condition worsened.
Police visited the hospital and launched a probe.
