Holi marks the beginning of spring season, a period between the end of winter and advent of summer. It is celebrated on full moon day.

Holi colours have several health benefits. Nowadays markets are flooded with adulterated synthetic colours that are highly harmful to humans.

Prevents Diseases: A day before Holi, holika is burnt during which the temperature increases to around 50-60 degree Celsius which kills bacteria from surroundings and body as well.
Promotes health: After the burning of Holika, people put ash on their foreheads and mix chandan with leaves and flowers of mango which is believed to promote good health.
Helps in body refreshment: Due to day to day activities body bears heavy pressure. Playing Holi with colours makes physically active and helps in refreshing body.
Heals the body: Colours are produced from natural sources like turmeric, neem etc. These natural sources have a healing effect on the body and strengthen the immune system and help us ward off diseases.
