Maoist camp busted in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: The Mathili police claims to have busted a Maoist camp inside the Sodiguda forests on Tulsi Hills in Malkangiri district Thursday . Acting on a tip-off, a combing team held a raid. The Maoists opened fire at the police. Cops retaliated the fire, but there was no casualty. The Red rebels made good their escape. Police recovered six mobile phones, some Maoist literature etc from the camp. The search was on in the area,” Malkangiri SP Jagmohan Meena said.
