India, by virtue of being the defending world champion, finds place of pride in the stamp. Postal service director Pawan Kumar Singh said it was a unique opportunity for both philatelists and lovers of cricket memorabilia to collect something unique. “Orissa Postal Circle has started selling these stamps. It is an initiative to celebrate the mega sporting event and to offer something unique to cricket lovers and stamp collectors,” Singh said.
