Chandikhole: A woman committed suicide by jumping before a moving train near Bari railway station in Jajpur district Tuesday evening. The locals spotted the body lying on the railway track.
The reason for her extreme step was unclear. Government railway police (GRP) sent the body for post-mortem. A case of unnatural death has been registered and a probe was on to ascertain whether it was a suicide or murder.
There were no witnesses to the incident. The identity of the woman was yet to be established.
