Bhubaneswar: The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha will conduct the Matriculation Examination 2026 from February 19 to March 2 across the state. A total of 5,61,989 students will appear for the examination this year, including candidates under the State Open School Certificate stream. To ensure smooth conduct of the examination, the board has set up 3,082 examination centres and 322 nodal centres across the state.
Additionally, 50 centres have been designated for the evaluation of answer sheets. All nodal and examination centres will remain under round-the-clock security cover and CCTV surveillance. Authorities have strictly prohibited mobile phones and other electronic devices inside examination centres. School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond said comprehensive arrangements have been made to ensure smooth and transparent conduct of the examinations.
