Sambalpur: A website was launched in the town Sunday in order to maintain better coordination among the blood donors and for those who are in need of blood.
Developed by Abhisek Agrawal and Sangita Rao, two computer science students of the town, the dedicated site www.bloodshare.in will have information like blood donation details of the donors, donors’ profile and contact address. The aim of developing the site is to establish coordination between the blood donors and the blood seekers, the duo said.
“It is often noticed that people, who are in need of blood, use social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter and Instagram to get blood. This prompted us to launch a dedicated site to help out the needy,” clarified Agrawal and Rao.
